Galileo Initial Services Declaration event

Galileo Services attended the Galileo Initial Services Declaration event on 15 December 2016. During this event, the European Commission, owner of Galileo, formally announced the start of Galileo Initial Services, the first step towards full operational capability.

Galileo Services welcomes this milestone, which demonstrates the technical excellence of Europe. With the declaration of initial services, Galileo will start to deliver a wide range of new services that will benefit public authorities, European businesses and ultimately EU citizens.
